Dr. Anthony Hall is a board certified Neurological Surgeon who has been practicing for 22 years in Southeast and Central Florida. He enjoys treating patients with spinal disorders, cranial disorders, and pain disorders. He specializes in minimally invasive approaches to the spine and brain.
Dr. Hall has a special interest in Geriatrics and surgical interventions for elderly patients. He also has an interest in Intradiscal regenerative therapy.
Dr. Hall spent one year of his residency studying Electrophysiology in spinal cord injured patients.
Dr. Hall earned his medical degree at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He completed general surgery internship at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. He then entered Neurosurgery training at University of Connecticut and the University of Miami completing residency in 1995. He was the first surgeon in South Florida to perform tubular access spinal diskectomies in 1995. He brought the first Radionics X-Knife for stereotactic radiosurgery to South Florida in 1995.
Dr. Hall is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery and was previously certified by the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners. He has published in peer review journals and has spent over 20 years as a teacher and instructor. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Herbert Wertheim FIU College of Medicine and an Associate Professor at Nova Southeastern College of Medicine. He has previously lectured at Nova’s School of Physician Assistants. He has been a Clinical Professor at Barry University and the University of Alabama. Dr. Hall is now president of the James W. Bridges Medical Society, which is the Miami-Dade chapter of the National Medical Association. He is a member of American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, The Broward County Medical Association,The Florida Neurosurgical Society, and the National Medical Association.
Dr. Hall also is the chairman of the board at Florida International Academy in Opa-locka and has volunteered extensively in South Florida with elementary school, middle school, high school and university undergraduate students who have an interest in medical and health careers.
